I found an interesting short report at Mr Corn's blog about Vietnamese girls who come to Singapore to find a husband. Finding a husband meaning that an agency brings them here and then tries to sell them. I am still speechless because of the behaviour shown in this video….

really spoil the impression of singaporeans. maybe BBC should do a documentary on themselves.
Britons are famous for going to east europe, philippines, thailand to get brides. even worse, often they went on a sexually exploit trip to these places and apply their colonial thinking and ways on these countries. when i was in london a few years back, you could see how they advertise trips to thailand and philippines. straight away you know that going there is for sex and fun.
Eh.. at least we married the woman and not just treat her as a sex object and throw away later. even divorce also need 3 years.
i think this company owner better do something to clarified what he is saying. for the reporter, he better not be a local, better migrate to overseas and stay there. spoiling our own sg image.
every country has its good and bad but such reports is towards the extreme and putting up negative impression on us.
given a chance, i will strangle the producer.
